Maharashtra Prohibition Of Ragging Act. 1999

  1. The Student involved directly or indirectly in ragging inside or out side  college premises will be suspended from the college with immediate effect.
  2. Police case will be lodged against such
  3. After trial in court, if convicted such student may face imprisonment up to two years and fine up to Rs. 10,000/-.
  4. Once convicted such student will be dismissed from the college and he/she will not be eligible to take admission in any other institute for five years .
  5. The Students are requested to keep themselves away from this disease of ragging to avoid consequence.
